STATE.......HERE THEY COME!
On Saturday evening at the Meet of Champions at Dublin High School, our BOYS 4x100m, made up of Seniors Ethen Torres and Kyle Bielawski and Juniors Trevor Rogers and Paul Kuhner, ran a 41.46 to put them in 1st place for the North Coast Section (2nd Seed overall in State) and the chance to compete in the CIF State Championship in Clovis, CA on Friday, May 26th. Paul also took 3rd place in the 200m and Trevor took 2nd place in the Long Jump. Good luck, gentlemen. Impressive showing overall to ALL our athletes who competed over the 2-day Meet. Congratulations to everyone.....WOW, just WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is the list of MEET entries and the link to watch the competition LIVE on Friday.
This will be my last post for the 2023 Season. What an incredible ride it has been to be a part of these young men and women's lives as they write their incredible stories! Memories were made this year for ALL of our athletes and coaches and it has been one of my greatest pleasures to share them with you!
Happy Finals week to everyone and best of luck to our graduating SENIORS!!! Once a DON, always a DON! Have a great SUMMER.........
To be continued.....GO DONS!

Parents, please, if you are a NEW family/athlete to a sport at Acalanes, we need your help in completing the Positive Parenting Certification. If a program can get 75% of their parents to complete the online program, the AD's will return that program's funds that are set aside for CIF, NCS, and DAL dues.
Parents can access the course using this link: https://nfhslearn.com/courses/positive-sport-parenting. Once someone completes the course and obtains the certificate, they'll need to upload their certificate here: https://forms.gle/tazbN8R13rzdvk2d9. This form is specific to Spring sports. If a parent has already completed the program and has the certificate from a previous season they can re-upload the certificate to this google form. If a parent is having trouble doing so, please have them reach out to Haley Walsh so she can manually add the certificate from an old google form to your team's total.
Let's Do This, Dons!!!

All I can say is, 'Acalanes Track & Field are no fools'. Saturday, April 1st, brought a dry, bluebird day to the Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto at the Stanford Invitational.
It was the first dry meet we have had in a long time so it was wonderful to watch all the hard work pay off for these athletes.
The Boys 400m Relay will compete at the Arcadia 'Meet of Records' Invitational this Saturday.
